Charter Operations Manager

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a motivated Charter Operations Manager to lead and optimise charter activities across Latin America, with a preferred base in Mexico. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality client experiences, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving profitability in air charter services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day charter operations, coordinating flights and related services.
• Maintain exceptional client service standards and respond proactively to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and business arrangements with airlines and suppliers in line with corporate policy and local regulations.
• Collaborate with heads of other departments to generate business leads and support cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process optimisations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in charter operations, aviation logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• In‑depth understanding of air‑freight rules, regulations and aircraft chartering.
