Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

WRS Health is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner to the executive team. The CFO will lead financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring strong financial health as the company scales its cloud‑based EHR and practice management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s long‑term financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, month‑end close, consolidations, AP/AR and multi‑entity reporting.
• Maintain robust internal controls, GAAP compliance, and coordinate annual audits.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, capital allocation and relationships with banks, lenders and investors.
• Lead treasury, risk management, insurance programs and support financing, fundraising and M&A activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Design and optimize the finance technology stack, including ERP, general ledger and CRM invoicing platforms.

Required profile

• Strategic business partner with executive leadership experience.
• Proven track record in financial management, reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Experience overseeing treasury, cash‑flow management and risk mitigation.
• Ability to drive data‑informed decision‑making and support scalable growth initiatives.
