Client Business Partner – Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Client Business Partner to lead the relationship with a Government Bank in Mexico. The role focuses on moving the partnership from transactional to strategic, acting as the trusted advisor for the client and ensuring Mastercard’s solutions are aligned with the bank’s long‑term vision.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic account, driving sales targets and closing new opportunities.
• Develop and execute yearly planning and long‑term account strategy, aligning Mastercard capabilities with client priorities.
• Translate client ambitions into well‑scoped initiatives and secure appropriate staffing and project governance.
• Shape proposals based on client pain points, drive cross‑sell and up‑sell across multiple solution areas.
• Partner with Core Account Managers to present a unified Mastercard voice to the client.

Required profile

• Proven ability to elevate client relationships from transactional to strategic.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end account planning and execution.
• Strong understanding of payment‑focused consultancy services.
• Capability to coordinate staffing, governance and delivery quality.
