Clinic Medical Assistant – Monticello

About the role

The Clinic Medical Assistant will work in a fast‑paced outpatient setting, supporting physicians and ensuring smooth patient flow. This full‑time, day‑shift position includes weekdays and occasional weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and minor surgical procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and perform basic diagnostic tests.
• Provide patient education and answer questions about care plans.
• Maintain and clean clinical equipment.
• Act as liaison between the clinic and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, and other physician offices.
• Collect and process blood samples when lab duties are required, ensuring proper handling and accurate analysis.
• Support other medical staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Required profile

• CPR certification is mandatory.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent (required for lab duties).
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
