Clinical Research Physician – Onco‑Hematology

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Clinical Research Physician specialized in Onco‑Hematology to join its Medical Affairs team in Mexico. The role provides scientific and medical leadership across oncology and hematology therapeutic areas, aligning local activities with global brand strategies and supporting product launch and commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive medical strategy in line with global and IBU Oncology and Hematology brand teams.
• Generate, evaluate, and disseminate scientific evidence addressing unmet medical needs in the Mexican healthcare environment.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and healthcare providers to strengthen Lilly’s scientific credibility.
• Support regulatory, pricing, reimbursement, and access initiatives from a medical perspective.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, Lilly standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Collaborate with Global Development, Brand, Real‑World Evidence, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Co‑lead strategic and tactical planning and contribute to the local medical plan.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) with board certification in Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Significant clinical experience and prior involvement in pharmaceutical or clinical research settings.
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Deep understanding of the Mexican healthcare system and stakeholder landscape.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
