Cloud Native Engineer

About the role

Novelus Team is seeking a Cloud Native Engineer to design, implement, and operate modern, hybrid‑cloud infrastructure. You will work with cutting‑edge container platforms and automation tools to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
• Deploy containerized applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Automate deployments and configurations using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, Argo CD).
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of clusters with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Resolve incidents related to containers, micro‑services, and networking.
• Apply security best practices to images, access controls, and configurations.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to modernize applications.
• Document technical procedures and operational standards.

Required profile

• Telecommunications engineer with solid experience in cloud‑native platform architecture and operations.
• Proven ability to work in hybrid and private cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and automation.

Required skills

• OpenShift deployment, administration, and monitoring.
• Kubernetes objects, namespaces, pods, deployments, services, ingress.
• Docker, Podman, image building and management.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, Argo CD.
• Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform.
• OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Linux system administration, Bash and Python scripting.
• Networking: virtual networks, SDN, load balancing, IPv4/IPv6, OSI/TCP‑IP models.
• Security: secrets management, RBAC, policies, image scanning, vulnerability remediation, firewalls, network policies.
