Commodity Buyer

About the role

Antolin is seeking a Commodity Buyer to manage the procurement of direct materials, primarily plastics, for its automotive interior components. The role supports internal customers by building an efficient supplier base and ensuring a dynamic, cost‑effective supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company targets.
• Track and report functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure optimal terms.
• Forecast price and market trends to anticipate shifts in buyer‑supplier power.
• Perform cost, scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Identify, assess and mitigate supply risks.
• Source new suppliers, visit existing ones, and maintain strong relationships.
• Partner with reliable vendors to secure quality and continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Development or a related supply‑chain field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automotive industry purchasing.
• Experience in direct material purchasing, preferably plastics.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
