Community Manager for Marvel Strike Force

About the role

Scopely is seeking a Manager, Community to lead the community function for Marvel Strike Force, a squad‑based hero collector RPG. The role is remote within Canada and focuses on translating business priorities into clear player‑facing communication and day‑to‑day community operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and evolve the community strategy across platforms, tone, engagement models and feedback loops.
• Manage daily community operations, communication cadence and ensure messaging aligns with player sentiment and business goals.
• Lead community managers and specialists, set weekly and monthly priorities, and maintain operating rhythms.
• Collaborate with Strategic & Product Marketing, Product, Live Ops, CRM and Player Experience teams to integrate community insights into launch planning and player communications.
• Monitor player sentiment, synthesize feedback into actionable insights and maintain clear feedback loops with cross‑functional teams.
• Plan and lead communication for launches, updates, incidents and major game moments, including escalation planning for high‑impact situations.
• Shape and maintain the game’s community narrative across all channels.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead day‑to‑day work of community managers or specialists.
• Experience setting priorities, operating rhythms and execution standards for a community team.
• Strong focus on a player‑first approach and ability to coach and manage performance.
• Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration with product, marketing, live‑ops and CRM teams.
• Ability to monitor and translate player sentiment into clear, consistent communication.
