Compensations Governance Consultant

About the role

Aon is seeking a Compensation Governance Consultant to support its Governance practice. You will work closely with senior consultants to deliver high‑quality governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inputs from internal teams and prepare client‑ready materials such as presentations, board/committee decks, and meeting prep.
• Research and analyse corporate governance structures, board composition, and executive compensation trends, including benchmarking and market‑practice summaries.
• Assist with shareholder engagement and annual meeting preparation, producing materials for proxy season and analysing investor and proxy‑advisor voting trends.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on project scope, timelines, and deliverables while contributing to internal templates and best‑practice documentation.
• Collect, validate, and analyse governance and compensation data to support white papers, articles, and presentations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple project components simultaneously.
• Interest in corporate governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement.
