About the role

Scania is seeking a Competence Development Trainer to design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions that enhance employee performance. The role focuses on creating engaging training experiences, analysing skill gaps and continuously improving development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse performance and competence data to identify learning needs and recommend priorities.
• Design and develop training content for both standard and customised courses.
• Deliver complex training sessions across functional areas to improve employee performance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programmes and report on outcomes.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of training operations.
• Provide information and advice on complex processes and policies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assign short‑term work schedules to team members to meet timelines.
• Identify product‑specific training needs, develop content and deliver specialised sessions.
• Support digital talent development by preparing and delivering targeted digital training modules.
