Comprador MRO

About the role

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a dedicated MRO Purchaser to manage the sourcing of maintenance, repair and operation supplies, services and raw materials that keep its plant running efficiently. The role ensures timely availability of materials, cost competitiveness and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase MRO materials, services and raw material according to plant requirements.
• Negotiate prices, delivery times and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Track purchase orders to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Identify and resolve supply shortages, delays and other issues.
• Support cost‑saving and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, planning and finance teams.
• Maintain accurate data in the ERP procurement system.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Experience with MRO, services and raw‑material procurement (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
