Comprador MRO Junior

About the role

The Junior MRO Buyer will support the procurement of indirect services and materials, ensuring compliance with internal policies and timely delivery to production sites. This position plays a key role in maintaining stock levels and supporting the overall efficiency of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Create service purchase orders within five days of request, following regional procedures and corporate policies.
• Maintain open orders in Oracle 11i with accurate real‑delivery dates.
• Reduce the number of orders open for more than 90 days in Oracle 11i.
• Ensure smooth receipt and delivery processes on the plant floor.
• Track MX/US GRNI orders to avoid lines older than 90 days.
• Assess the need for new suppliers and guarantee purchases are made with appropriate vendors.
• Maintain MIN‑MAX stock levels for consumable items using Oracle 11i.
• Oversee import processes and SBF preparation when required.
• Negotiate payment terms and advance payments with suppliers, obtaining necessary authorizations.
• Participate in productivity projects related to order placement and material purchasing.
• Execute local purchases using P‑card and manage local movements as needed.

Required profile

• Completed university degree.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle 11i procurement system.
• Experience using corporate P‑cards for local purchases.
