Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead land‑based projects for Royal Caribbean Group’s Private Destinations Team in Cozumel. The role oversees all phases of construction, from design through close‑out, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and support contracts, sub‑contracts, purchase orders and change orders.
• Develop, maintain and communicate the Master Project Schedule.
• Monitor vendor and contractor performance, holding them accountable for delays and cost overruns.
• Produce regular project reports using Project Management Software and Microsoft Office.
• Manage project budgets, financial reporting and risk analysis.
• Lead QA/QC programs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Facilitate weekly progress meetings and track project risks.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, subcontractors and local community partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing land‑based construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and cost control.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience working onsite in a multicultural environment.
