Consultant – Post Audit Role (Remote)

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Consultant to perform post‑audit activities for Goods for Resale suppliers. Working remotely, you will analyze merchant agreements and related data to determine financial obligations and present findings to suppliers and merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct correspondence‑based audits by comparing email correspondence with invoice data and other supporting documents.
• Review and reconstruct merchant agreements to assess cost, retail, margin protection, and promotional impacts.
• Audit supplier transactions for accuracy across invoices, purchase orders, item files, and agreements.
• Create and present audit claims, defend their validity, and drive resolution with suppliers and merchants.
• Collaborate with suppliers and merchants to resolve underlying issues and align on audit guidelines.
• Identify new audit concepts, assist in guideline creation, and update processes.
• Work with external audit firms to ensure their procedures meet internal standards and detect potential fraud.
• Train new team members and share best practices to capture missed claims.
• Participate in team meetings, suggest process improvements, and lead initiatives when required.
