Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

Siemens is seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Lean initiatives across its production environment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to standardise processes, eliminate waste, and drive measurable performance gains.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and support all Lean activities within the assigned area.
• Deploy standards, develop process documentation, and ensure compliance.
• Analyse processes and disruptions, identify weak points, propose solutions and support implementation.
• Evaluate cost‑benefit scenarios for projects and monitor the rollout of improvement measures.
• Prepare and deliver training on Lean methods and share best practices across teams.
• Participate in work groups, moderate meetings and workshops to foster collaboration.
• Complete coaching programmes to effectively implement change processes.
• Apply subject knowledge in investment calculations and implementation planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or process optimisation.
• Proven experience deploying Lean tools and facilitating workshops.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and investment planning.
• Professional level of English.

• Lean methodologies: Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED.
• SAP proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Project management capabilities.
• Data analysis skills.
