Contract Specialist

About the role

Join IFF’s Global Business Services team in Polanco, Mexico City as a Contract Specialist. You will work with cross‑functional partners to draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts that support the company’s innovative products.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise global supplier contracts ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Negotiate terms with vendors to secure favorable, risk‑mitigated agreements.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Maintain alignment with internal policies, procedures, and strategic goals.
• Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Use company‑approved templates to ensure consistency.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders on supplier contract matters.
• Monitor contract timelines, renewals, and terminations to ensure continuity.
• Support compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in contract management, legal, or procurement roles.
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency with contract management tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
