About the role

The Commercial Coordinator will join DHL Corporate Real Estate (CRE) in Mexico City, supporting the management of a diversified property portfolio with a focus on retail assets. The role involves executing small‑scale transactions, lease renewals and coordinating with licensing, construction and property‑management teams to maximise portfolio value.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of portfolio plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and DHL policies.
• Conduct market research and financial modelling for retail properties to identify commercial opportunities.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate lease contracts and commercial terms for new premises.
• Assist with acquisition and development projects from sourcing through hand‑over, preparing standardized presentations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Solutions Design, Operations, Finance) and external partners to obtain operating licences, manage remodels, and monitor construction progress.
• Perform site visits, review construction drawings, monitor works, and manage guarantees as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial real estate portfolio management, preferably with retail assets.
• Strong analytical abilities for market research, financial analysis and scenario modelling.
• Experience negotiating lease agreements and managing small‑scale transactions.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external contractors.
• Attention to detail in monitoring construction processes and documentation.
