Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to provide direct tax advisory support across the Latin American region. Based in Mexico City, you will partner with Tax, Finance, and Legal teams to support business growth, strategic initiatives, and complex international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional tax projects in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide technical tax analysis on business transactions, investments, and international tax issues.
• Evaluate and communicate tax implications of strategic initiatives and organizational changes.
• Support integration activities for newly acquired companies across the region.
• Manage regional tax litigation matters.
• Contribute to M&A transactions, restructuring projects, and capital investment initiatives.
• Assist global tax initiatives and ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• 7+ years of international tax experience in a multinational company, law firm, or audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of Latin American tax regulations.
• Experience with OECD Pillar Two regulations is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
