Cost Accounting Associate Manager

About the role

Join IFF’s Global Business Services team as a Cost Accounting Associate Manager, based in Tecnoparque, Azcapotzalco. You will lead a plant‑cost analysis group, driving financial performance and supporting the development of sustainable products used daily worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Plant Cost Analysis team, aligning activities with organizational goals and operational priorities.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members to build technical expertise and career growth.
• Oversee product cost validation, cost forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis (POV, PPV, CCV).
• Collaborate with Plant Cost Analysts, Supply Chain, Integrated Operations and business stakeholders to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Monitor key performance indicators, provide insights and recommendations to improve plant performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, promoting process optimisation, standardisation and operational excellence.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships by delivering high‑quality service and resolving operational challenges.
• Support workforce planning, talent development and knowledge‑sharing to sustain a strong talent pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance, cost accounting, manufacturing finance or plant controlling.
• 2–4 years of people‑management experience preferred.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of plant cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, product costing and financial performance management.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing operations, supply chain and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SAP and related financial systems.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, process improvement or project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and make sound decisions.
