Cost Controller for Zama Field Development

About the role

The Zama field development project requires a Cost Controller to manage and track all project expenditures from the Select phase through execution. You will ensure budget draw‑down, accurate forecasting and full cost transparency to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, control and trace project costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
• Prepare regular expenditure forecasts and variance analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement cost‑control procedures and reporting tools to improve financial accuracy.
• Maintain cost discipline throughout the Select, Define and Execute phases of the Zama project.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide timely financial data for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with Harbour Energy HSES policies, regulatory requirements and ethics standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cost control or project finance, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, ethics and regulatory compliance.
