Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cost Controller to join its Los Cabos property. In this full‑time, onsite role you will ensure efficient financial management of hotel operations by monitoring, analysing, and reporting costs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and prepare regular financial reports for management.
• Audit budgets, verify expenditures, and maintain internal control standards.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimise resource allocation and improve profitability.
• Monitor inventory costs and support forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost control and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, conduct financial audits, and establish internal controls.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry and inventory management is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software tools.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
