Cost Controller – Manufacturing Industry

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the manufacturing business unit by managing budgets, cost models and financial analysis to ensure profitability and accurate quotations. This role works closely with the finance team and operational departments to drive cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the budget and integrate it with cost models, quotations and corporate financial objectives.
• Manage cost control and financial analysis, providing reliable information for decision‑making.
• Analyze business unit profitability, including conversion cost analysis.
• Oversee inventory valuation, control and turnover to ensure financial efficiency.
• Monitor operational and cost performance indicators, identifying deviations, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support quotation processes by developing and validating cost structures, simulations and scenarios.
• Evaluate profitability initiatives and prioritize projects with the greatest economic impact.
• Identify financial and cost risks and propose adjustments, procedures and costing methodologies.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of experience in cost control, with at least 3 years in a controlling role.
• Background in a manufacturing environment, preferably assembly.
• Experience supporting large‑scale quotations.
• Advanced level of English.
• US work authorization (visa) required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an advanced ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of full costing processes and standard costing methodologies.
