Courier – Package Delivery & Collection

About the role

The Courier role at FedEx Express involves courteous and efficient delivery, sorting, and collection of packages and documents. You will represent the company professionally while ensuring all shipments comply with FedEx service standards and required paperwork is completed accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages and documents safely using non‑articulated vehicles.
• Inspect, sort, and label packages according to service type, destination, and legal requirements.
• Scan shipments, record stop counts, and report miss‑sorts.
• Provide customers with information on FedEx services and handle inquiries.
• Load and unload aircraft, containers, and company vehicles, operating ramp equipment as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform minor maintenance, and ensure personal appearance meets company standards.
• Collect and deliver required paperwork such as air waybills, tax invoices, and shipping records.
• Secure company and customer property, including cash, hazardous materials, and packages.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience driving a 3.5 ton truck.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 55 lb (25 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.
• Basic English reading skills.
• Good verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer‑oriented attitude.
