Cross Border Track & Trace Specialist

About the role

The Cross Border Track & Trace Specialist ensures end‑to‑end visibility of shipments moving between Mexico, the United States and Canada. Working in a fast‑paced 3PL environment, you will monitor freight, communicate status updates and resolve transportation exceptions to maintain customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cross‑border shipments from pickup to delivery using TMS, carrier portals, GPS tracking and ELD platforms.
• Track milestones, verify pickups, border crossings, transfers and deliveries, and keep status information current.
• Identify and investigate delays, detentions, route deviations and border‑related issues, coordinating corrective actions with carriers, brokers and customers.
• Escalate high‑risk shipments according to established procedures and document root causes.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders and drayage providers to ensure smooth border clearances and compliance with customer requirements.
• Provide timely shipment updates via email, phone and customer portals, and maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, tracking & tracing or supply‑chain operations.
• Experience with cross‑border freight between Mexico and the United States preferred.
• Background in a 3PL environment strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

What we offer

• Starting salary of 22,000 MXN per month.
• On‑site role in the San Pedro area of Monterrey with shift schedule: Tue‑Fri 6 pm‑2 am, Sat/Sun 9 am‑5 pm.
