Customer & Procurement Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner – Customer & Procurement is responsible for managing material flow across the North American supply chain for Bosch customers, plant operations, and internal logistics. The role may focus on either Customer (Passthrough) Planning or Procurement (Raw Material) Planning, with the expectation to develop competency in both tracks over time.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage purchase orders and delivery schedules to global Bosch supplying plants based on demand and inventory targets.
• Maintain 24+ months of rolling demand visibility in SAP and/or Kinaxis Maestro to support long‑range capacity planning.
• Coordinate inbound receipts, inventory positioning, and stock availability across North American warehouses (Summerville, SC & Laredo, TX).
• Monitor and resolve blocked stock, MRP exceptions, and inventory discrepancies with warehouse teams.
• Manage goods‑in‑transit visibility and ensure timely clearance of inbound deliveries.
• Process and validate customer EDI releases, transmit Advance Shipping Notifications, and schedule outbound shipments to OEM and Tier 1 customers.

Required profile

• Willingness to develop competency in both customer and procurement planning tracks.
• Ability to coordinate with supplying plants, warehouse operations, and external customers.
