Customer Service Contact

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Customer Service Contact to manage product demand from customers, integrate schedules, and ensure timely deliveries across the supply chain. The role acts as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, guaranteeing that customer requirements are accurately reflected in production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and integrate customer schedules via EDI, webEDI or paper, resolving any integration errors.
• Load closed orders, identify large order variations, and release picking lists for deliveries.
• Monitor the full supply chain (procurement, production, shipping) and chase actions to meet service level targets.
• Track safety stock levels and trigger alerts when minimum or maximum thresholds are reached.
• Manage logistics issues with external platforms and ensure correct parameters (MOQ, lead‑time, transportation schedule) are applied.
• Participate in P1 and P0 projects such as new references, packaging changes, transfers, and onboarding new customers.
• Prepare customs documentation for exports when required.
• Communicate precise, reliable information to customer contacts, adapting method and frequency to the situation.
• Validate feasibility of customer programs with internal MPS, procurement and scheduling teams, negotiating delivery dates as needed.
• Measure daily service rates, propose improvement action plans, and address blocking points quickly.

Required profile

• Strong ability to coordinate demand across sales, operations and logistics.
• Experience handling customer schedules and resolving integration issues.
• Capability to communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to monitoring stock levels and service performance.
