Customer Service Export Specialist

About the role

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Customer Service Export specialist to manage high‑volume order entry and ensure timely delivery for its global customers. The role combines order processing, communication, and coordination with internal teams to meet quality, service, and regulatory standards in the food industry.

Key responsibilities

• Enter a high volume of incoming export orders into SAP accurately and promptly.
• Track orders from entry through invoicing and manage shipment methods for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers via written correspondence, telephone, and electronic channels.
• Negotiate with Planning and Distribution to confirm product availability, expedite shipments, and coordinate back‑orders.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to service, billing, or product issues.
• Take ownership of errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain productive relationships with customers, co‑packers, and internal departments.

Required profile

• College degree strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• English proficiency of 80% (conversation and written).
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
