Customer Service Specialist (Automotive)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service professional with automotive experience to act as the main liaison between our domestic and international customers and internal teams. The role focuses on coordinating demand, managing shipments, and ensuring on‑time delivery through the use of OEM and Tier 1 portals.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and aligning requirements with production, planning, logistics and supply‑chain functions.
• Analyze customer demand, monitor daily volume fluctuations, and manage release schedules through customer portals.
• Track shipment priorities, monitor delivery performance, and drive corrective actions for delivery issues (DDPM).
• Maintain accurate customer data, inventory levels and safety stock to support demand plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain teams to ensure operational alignment and on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in customer service, production or material planning.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to work proactively, stay highly organized and solve problems analytically.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Experience using EDI interfaces.
• Proficiency with OEM/Tier 1 customer portals for demand releases, ASN processing and shipment tracking.
