Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Security Subject Matter Expert to lead comprehensive security posture reviews for Google Cloud environments. You will evaluate customer configurations and architectures, identify risks, and deliver actionable recommendations that strengthen security and build confidence in the Google Cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth reviews of Google Cloud configurations and architecture to assess security posture.
• Identify misconfigurations, poor practices, and potential vulnerabilities in GCP environments.
• Develop and present tailored recommendations and strategic roadmaps for continuous security improvement.
• Provide customers with situational awareness of GCP usage, ensuring alignment with security guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with customers to reduce security risks and enhance confidence in their cloud platform.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Google Cloud security services, configurations, and architectural best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive security assessments and identify gaps.
• Experience creating practical security recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
