Cybersecurity Engineer II

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer II (L2) is a hands‑on technical contributor responsible for implementing, operating, and improving our client’s cybersecurity capabilities across a rapidly growing enterprise. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to embed security into every system, data set, and user interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls for identity & access management, endpoint security (Intune), and cloud SaaS platforms.
• Support day‑to‑day security operations, including alert triage, investigation, and response.
• Develop and maintain vulnerability and risk management programs, tracking remediation with engineering teams.
• Onboard newly acquired agencies, consolidating identities, hardening endpoints, and enforcing security baselines.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure‑by‑design solutions and promote security as an enabler.
• Assist with compliance initiatives, audit readiness, and alignment with regulatory frameworks relevant to insurance and data protection.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of security processes and tooling.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related engineering roles.
• Proven experience in complex or distributed enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to balance security rigor with business agility.
