Cybersecurity Professional

About the role

As an Information Security Contact (ISC) you will be the primary point of contact for all IT and OT cybersecurity matters within your assigned unit at Siemens. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and help build a strong security culture.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central contact for IT/OT cybersecurity topics, responding to inquiries and providing guidance.
• Manage basic cybersecurity hygiene, including exception handling and incident support.
• Assist with local vulnerability management, tracking remediation and reporting.
• Support asset and configuration processes, ensuring proper registration in IT repositories.
• Participate in security initiatives such as penetration testing and Zero Trust implementations.
• Deliver awareness training and conduct annual site inspections.
• Help execute and remediate findings from IT/OT assessments and audits.
• Maintain oversight of relevant IT repositories and advise employees on security best practices.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IT and/or OT security, preferably with professional experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and processes in a large enterprise.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly.
• Strong collaboration abilities with business unit security officers, IT partners and asset owners.
• Structured, proactive work style with a high degree of responsibility.
