Data Analytics Lead – Ostro (Life Sciences)

About the role

Veeva Ostro sits at the intersection of life sciences, marketing and artificial intelligence, delivering AI‑enabled omnichannel engagement for pharmaceutical brands, healthcare providers and patients. As the Data Analytics Lead you will own the data systems and measurement analyses that drive product evolution and support client planning across the commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with platform and data engineers to modernize the data architecture, making it high‑fidelity, AI‑ready and easily accessible for internal and external users.
• Guide data integrations with customer systems in collaboration with the solutions engineering team.
• Elevate the standard suite of product analytics and measurement insights together with the product team.
• Deliver custom analytical requests for clients alongside the client services team.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of data analysts and data engineers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science, analytics or data engineering, including managerial leadership.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise in SQL and Python, with strong data‑modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability to design modern, AI‑ready data architectures.
• Recent experience working on projects for the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
• Undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics or physics.
