About the role
Infosys Mexico is looking for a Data Engineer focused on ETL processes to join its delivery team in Mexico City. The role combines SQL development, Tableau reporting and AWS cloud services to build and maintain automated data pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop SQL code using AWS Athena.
- Create and edit Tableau workbooks to support business reporting.
- Build automated data‑processing solutions.
- Monitor performance and tune existing automated jobs.
- Troubleshoot job failures and resolve issues.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and query data to answer business questions.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to define metrics and key performance indicators.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with curiosity about data.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented and focused on continuous improvement.
Required skills
- SQL (including AWS Athena).
- Tableau workbook development.
- ETL development (minimum 1‑2 years experience).
- AWS services: CloudWatch, Lambda, EMR, Athena.
