Data Scientist Internship

About the role

ON.energy is seeking a Data Science Intern to support the full data workflow for its AI‑powered power infrastructure solutions. You will work on real‑world projects, from data ingestion to model experimentation, while learning best practices in data science and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business problems and technical context for each project.
• Extract, ingest, and structure data from files, databases, and APIs.
• Perform data‑cleaning tasks, validate data quality, and report issues.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and create visualizations to highlight patterns and anomalies.
• Assist in preparing data for predictive models and participate in ML/DL experiments.
• Help monitor and maintain production AI algorithms, documenting processes and results.

Required profile

• Final semester of a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Solid foundation in quantitative and analytical methods gained through coursework.
• Prior research experience (academic or applied) is a plus.
