Design Engineer

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Design Engineer to develop production machines based on validated reference models and to support various design activities across the MQT area. The role involves creating detailed drawings, managing purchasing, and delivering standard equipment that meets high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production machines using existing validated reference designs.
• Support MQT design tasks, including drawing creation and component purchasing.
• Design and deliver standard equipment and functional machines on time and within budget.
• Ensure machines produce high‑quality products with minimal development issues.

Required profile

• Mechatronic Engineer or Mechanical Engineer degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing machinery and equipment with automation concepts such as robots, servomotors, and magnetic tables.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong command of English.
