Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will support the ICD Cabs engineering team in Mexico, providing design expertise for new product introductions and ongoing production models of Resource Industries cabs. Working closely with the U.S. design team, you will help ensure high‑quality, manufacturable solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CPPD (Concurrent Product and Process Development) meetings for assigned cab models.
• Attend "stop‑to‑fix" sessions on the shop floor, delivering engineering feedback.
• Create and detail 3D models in Creo for new parts, engineering changes, and production print updates.
• Review and assess deviations, conducting root‑cause analysis for engineering‑related issues.
• Collaborate with component and ROPS designers to resolve All Quality Events (AQEs) and built‑in‑quality (BIQ) concerns.
• Support continuous product improvement (CPI) projects through analysis and solution development.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Creo CAD modeling and detailing.
• Experience in root‑cause analysis and deviation assessment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product development workflows.
