Design Release Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Design Release Engineer to join our active chassis and actuation team. The role focuses on the design, validation and release of chassis components and systems for automotive applications, ensuring they meet manufacturing and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and release chassis component designs, from concept through production.
• Perform benchmarking and implement optimization methodologies to improve component performance and cost.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are compatible with fabrication processes.
• Create and maintain CAD models and documentation, visualizing and assessing geometries.
• Generate comparison reports and support the global vehicle development process across all phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aeronautical, automotive, structural, industrial processes, or related).
• Experience in designing or engineering chassis components and systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes for chassis parts.
• Proficiency in technical English communication.
• Familiarity with the automotive global vehicle development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CAD systems: NX, Teamcenter, Catia, Enovia.
