Designer Level II

About the role

The Designer Level II will support offshore installation projects by creating detailed sketches, rigging and seafastening drawings, and 3‑D models. Working closely with engineering and drafting teams, you will ensure design deliverables meet industry standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare offshore installation method sketches, rigging and seafastening drawings.
• Create concise 3‑D models using AutoCAD, Inventor or Civil 3D to support concept development.
• Produce accurate drawings and coordinate design criteria with engineering teams while adhering to Subsea7 GOM Drafting, ASME and ISO standards.
• Interface with other disciplines to gather input, coordinate deliverables and develop clash‑free designs.
• Assist in identifying technical problems and propose viable solutions.
• Collaborate with the Drafting Team to ensure delivery schedules are met.

Required profile

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting and Design, or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of relevant drafting or design experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively and work under time and budget constraints.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on consistent quality of drawings and documentation.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
