Desktop Administrator II

About the role

The Desktop Administrator II provides IT service excellence to internal customers, managing laptops, desktops, thin clients, printers and related equipment. This role ensures reliable operation, timely issue resolution, and contributes to continuous improvement of desktop services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medium‑complexity tasks and projects, providing customers with status updates.
• Assist with issue escalation and resolution while adhering to Global IT policies.
• Maintain lifecycle management of computing devices, including inventory tracking of hardware and software.
• Execute change‑management procedures for system updates, modifications, and deletions.
• Apply lean concepts and metrics to improve processes and solutions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Uphold cybersecurity posture by following security policies, participating in training, and reporting incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer proficiency and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of tasks and procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and internal teams.
