Desktop & Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Desktop & Technical Support Specialist to join Vonage’s Global IT Support Desk. The role provides hands‑on assistance to internal users in Mexico, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and audiovisual equipment.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of IT assets, including provisioning and re‑imaging across multiple platforms.
• Resolve tickets promptly using help‑desk tools and maintain high user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the global IT team to maintain servers, networks and software systems.
• Perform regular updates, patches, backups and document IT procedures.
• Support VPN connectivity and conference‑room AV setups.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or help‑desk roles.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Airwatch Workspace ONE for mobile device management.
• Google Workspace, Trend AV antivirus, BeyondTrust privileged access management.
• Help‑desk platforms such as ConnectWise, Jira Service Desk, AirWatch.
• Provisioning and imaging on Windows, Linux, macOS, ChromeOS, iOS and Android.
• Network and UPS installation, VPN troubleshooting.
• Conference‑room AV system configuration.
