DevOps Engineer

About the role

MedTrainer is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines that power its compliance platform for healthcare organizations. You will partner with software, SRE, platform, and product teams to streamline delivery, improve reliability, and ensure secure, observable production workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code with a focus on reusable, reviewed, and documented components.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including environment‑based deployments, approval gates, artifact handling, secrets management, and rollback capabilities.
• Develop and maintain Ansible roles, inventories, and playbooks for OS, middleware, and application configuration.
• Support containerized application delivery with Docker/OCI images and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
• Automate repetitive operational and release tasks to reduce manual handoffs and configuration drift.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications, infrastructure, and pipelines.
• Maintain cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP following architecture, security, and cost‑control guidelines.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, deployment validation, smoke testing, and release troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and container orchestration.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and document processes clearly.
