DevOps Engineer – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing SaaS company seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team supporting a large, worldwide user base. The role focuses on system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation to ensure high availability and performance of our web services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop tools, features, and automations that enhance platform functionality and performance.
• Maintain and improve development and production environments.
• Write and manage cloud scripts for services such as Amazon EC2, S3, CloudFront, and Google Cloud.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure for both internal and customer‑facing services.

Required profile

• BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in PHP; experience with Go and/or Node.js is a plus.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Expertise in Linux system administration (Ubuntu/Debian).
• Deep knowledge of cloud computing, high‑availability, and high‑performance architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
