Digital Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to support the execution, monitoring and optimisation of paid social acquisition campaigns for American Express. The role focuses on data‑driven performance, reporting and day‑to‑day campaign management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing paid campaigns in Google Ads.
• Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics such as CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS and conversion rates.
• Build and maintain performance reports in Excel, highlighting insights and trends.
• Analyse data to identify optimisation opportunities across audiences, creatives and budget allocation.
• Support A/B testing of audiences, copy and creative formats.
• Coordinate with creative teams to ensure timely asset implementation.
• Track budget pacing and align with monthly investment plans.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and performance‑oriented.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (professional written and verbal communication).

Required skills

• Google Ads (paid media tool) – basic knowledge.
• Google Tag Manager – basic understanding of pixel and event tracking.
• Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS, data cleaning and performance analysis.
• Data analysis and reporting.
