Director of Security – Fractional CISO (Remote)

About the role

The organization is seeking a seasoned security executive to provide fractional CISO services for multiple clients. This remote, part‑time position will involve strategic leadership, governance oversight, and direct communication with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive cybersecurity leadership across 2–3 client organizations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security governance programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and audit preparations.
• Present security posture updates and recommendations to executives and board members.
• Guide the creation of security strategies, policies, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Support and advise security teams and other stakeholders within client environments.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.
• 5+ years in a senior security leadership role (CISO, Security Director, etc.).
• Proven experience presenting security matters to executive audiences and boards.
• Native Spanish speaker with professional English proficiency.
