Director of Talent & People

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Talent & People to shape and scale the people function for a fast‑growing, technology‑driven organization based in Mexico. You will own talent strategy, people operations, and employee experience, building the systems that enable teams to thrive in a globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall Talent and People strategy, ensuring the organization has the structure, processes, and capabilities needed to support continued growth.
• Lead company‑wide talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and recruiting operations while improving hiring quality, speed, and predictability.
• Manage and develop the recruiting team, creating scalable processes to support hiring across multiple functions and regions.
• Support executive and leadership‑level hiring initiatives, improving interview processes, candidate experience, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build and maintain scalable people operations systems covering onboarding, offboarding, documentation, policies, and employee support.
• Create a strong employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring clarity around roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and expectations.
• Partner with leadership teams on organizational design, workforce planning, team structures, and operational improvements.
• Develop performance management, feedback, career development, and retention programs to support employee growth and engagement.
• Establish visibility into organizational health through people metrics, insights, and proactive identification of talent‑related risks.
• Act as a strategic partner to executives by providing practical solutions and building the infrastructure required for long‑term growth.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Human Resources, or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience supporting organizations with 100+ employees, ideally within high‑growth startups, agencies, technology companies, or rapidly scaling environments.
• Experience leading recruiting teams and managing end‑to‑end hiring operations.
• Strong understanding of people operations within remote‑first or globally distributed organizations.
