Early Years Educator – Bilingual School

About the role

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is seeking an Early Years Educator to join its vibrant bilingual community. You will support the lead teacher in delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning for children aged 2‑5, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily classroom activities.
• Implement play‑based and structured learning experiences.
• Manage classroom routines, transitions, and student behaviour.
• Provide individual and small‑group support to students.
• Observe and report on children’s development and progress.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
• Assist in school events and early years activities.

Required profile

• Experience working with early childhood students.
• Relevant qualification in education or childcare (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, caring, and supportive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic classroom management skills.
• Organised and proactive approach.

Required skills

• Advanced English proficiency.
