About the role
The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator / PN2 Teacher to support its bilingual, play‑based curriculum for children aged 2 to 5. Working closely with the lead teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes holistic development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily classroom activities.
- Implement play‑based and structured learning experiences.
- Manage classroom routines, transitions, and student behaviour.
- Provide individual and small‑group support to students.
- Observe, record, and report on children’s development and progress.
- Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in school events and early years activities.
Required profile
- Experience working with early childhood students.
- Relevant qualification in education or childcare (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patient, caring, and supportive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Organised and proactive approach.
- Advanced English proficiency (required).
