EH&S Technician

About the role

The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Technician supports the organization by performing technical duties related to safety, health, and environmental compliance. Working within defined time frames, the technician contributes to projects aimed at improving process efficiency and technical performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned technical tasks and activities on schedule.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to enhance overall process and technical efficiency.
• Train new personnel on standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and materials.
• Identify problems, propose corrective actions, and implement remedies.
• Prepare and deliver periodic status reports in both written and verbal formats.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
