Elementary School English Teacher

About the role

Escuela Activa Integral is seeking a dedicated English teacher for elementary students. The role involves delivering engaging language lessons, fostering communication skills, and supporting the school’s bilingual curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver age‑appropriate English lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Create and adapt teaching materials, integrating technology where appropriate.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align curriculum goals.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student development.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in ELT or related field.
• Teaching certifications such as CELTA or TKT (preferred).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL).
• Responsible, punctual and a strong team player.
• Tech‑savvy, creative and innovative.
• Experience working with children.

Required skills

• English proficiency (B2+ level).
• CELTA certification (or equivalent).
• TKT certification (or equivalent).
