About the role
Join Bosch's automotive team to develop and integrate software for airbag systems. You will work on real‑time embedded solutions that directly impact vehicle safety and driver protection.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, write functional specifications, implement and test software functions.
- Integrate software components and develop CAN communication and vehicle diagnostic services.
- Act as technical contact for customers and the global development team.
- Test software in hardware and simulation environments to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and document software outputs.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience programming in C for real‑time embedded systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in embedded automotive software.
- Familiarity with change and requirement management tools (e.g., CSCRM, ALM, Synergy).
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and ability to solve technical problems independently.
- Strong interest in automotive engineering and ability to work in an international team.
Required skills
- C programming for real‑time embedded systems
- CAN communication and diagnostic protocols (UDS, J1939, GMLAN)
- Software integration tools (CSCRM, ALM, Synergy)
- Source control systems (Subversion, GIT, MKS)
- Scripting languages (Python, Perl)
- Testing tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, INCA
- HIL/SIL testing methods
